Nothing lasts forever and today was the beginning of the end of our
trip. We managed to get packed in good time and we said goodbye to
our accommodation (and our host, Sam, who came to collect the key).
We had thought that we would get an "Uber" car to take us (and our
luggage) to Heathrow but when Satoshi reported that this would cost
us £130, we decided that we would manage on the Docklands Light Rail
and the Elizabeth Line. Everything went smoothly and it took about
an hour to get to the airport. We were able to book into our room at
the Hilton Garden Inn as soon as we got there, which was good. The
afternoon was spent catching up on journal writing, with breaks for
lunch and dinner. Satoshi worked out that our hotel is at Terminal 2
but Qatar Airlines is located at Terminal 4. This will mean a short
train ride in the morning but our flight is not until 3:05pm so it
won't be an issue.

It was a relaxing way to prepare for our travel
tomorrow.
